      Thermal oil heater

      EFFICIENT AND RELIABLE

      INTEC thermal oil heaters are used to supply process heat to production systems in almost all industry sectors. .

      Our customers' local conditions largely determine the design of the heat transfer oil heater.

      All construction methods, whether horizontal, vertical with downward or upward lighting, or electrically heated, are at the highest technical level and have been used in large numbers around the world for a long time.

      INTEC carries out a risk analysis for all thermal oil heaters. The safety equipment, including sensors, logic and actuators, complies with DIN 4754 parts 1-3. This is equivalent to a SIL 2 version.

      Thermal oil heater

      ETE - Electrically heated

      INTEC's electrically heated thermal oil heaters (ETE) are a sustainable alternative for small and medium-sized thermal oil systems.

      All ETE thermal oil heaters operate completely emission-free, require neither a permitting process for firing nor tanks for fuel storage, and significantly reduce the demands on the supply infrastructure.

      Compared to directly fired systems, electrically heated thermal oil heaters have a significantly reduced CO2 footprint, depending on the source of the electricity.

      The performance range of our ETE systems is between 0.02 - 5 MW.

      The heat transfer oil in electrically heated systems is heated using bundles of heating rods, with the heat transfer oil being passed through the bundles in multiple cross-flow.

      This controlled oil flow in combination with a low surface load on the heating elements guarantees a long service life of the system.

      Both the heating elements and the entire system can be designed for potentially explosive installation locations.
